About Me… Maybe..

To explain who I am is, I think, not a fair thing to do. What value does it bring to the context of this site? I think that’s a fair question. If I happened to share my exploits as a successful lawyer and offered legal advise in contrary to your opinion, would an “about me” be all it takes to change your opinion? What if I wrote an amazing biopic that laid out my path to excellence and riches in realty, would you trust my every opinion on the site without asking a question? Execute similar activities regardless of the risk relative to your stability? I would hope not.

Another option is I could write a well thought out thesis facilitating whatever the intent of the site with the hope it would garner interest. Maybe if I write a compelling enough “about me” I could get away with saying anything, regardless of how unpopular it is, and you would accept it. The “about me” would sell you the idea that I know exactly what I am doing and have all the answers, just subscribe and I’ll “teach” you.

No, I won’t do that. I will tell you about me but I’ll do it in the way I think internally. Ready?

I am a conscious and sentient existence that is only able to make decisions. Everything else experienced or encountered is a result of those decisions or the result of decisions of those around me. I have no control, only degrees of influence that are based on the decisions I make. I strive very hard to not hate anyone, but do find value in avoiding toxic personalities relative to my own perception of life. I find enjoy thinking about experiences to extract all the value I can from them. I believe the past is to learn from, the future is to plan for, and the present the time to demonstrate how the past and future has influenced me. I think we should have the authority to do what ever we want in life as long as it bring no harm to anyone or negatively impacts property that is not ours. I don’t believe in religion but I appreciate spirituality.

What image do you have in your mind? I’m curious what comes to mind when reading that. Either way, that’s the best way to explain who I am.
